Would you like to host a kickstart?
We have already seen amazing fruit from these events. They are very effective in activating people to live the life that God is calling them to.
1 Corinthians 4:20 “For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.”
Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
What is a kickstart?
A kickstart is a 3-day event where you learn how to follow Jesus. There is lots of practical teaching, which includes how to share the Gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, be led by the Holy Spirit and count the cost of being Jesus’ disciples. There will also be opportunity to go out on the street and see the healing through your own hands!
James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
Who are kickstarts for?
Anyone who is seeking God and needs:
- To be born again
- Spiritual freedom
- Healing
- Tools to minister to others
- Activation to share and demonstrate the gospel in power on the streets
Where and how can kickstarts take place?
Whatever suits your needs!
Kickstarts are flexible and designed to equip people wherever they are in the UK. You could invite us to share with your family and friends in your home. Maybe your church or fellowship wants a kickstart? Or you may have a large venue and want to invite people from a wider area?
What would a kickstart weekend look like?
Generally, the programme will be as follows:
Friday
18:00-18:30 Introduction to the kickstart.
18:45-21:00 Evening teaching on ‘Christian or disciple’ (focusing on obedience to Jesus’ commands, not just hearing and getting more knowledge) and ‘Luke 10’ (focusing on Luke chapter 10:1-12: The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. We all have a platform. Jesus is commanding us to go! How to find a person of peace.
Saturday
10:00-12:30 Morning teaching on ‘The gospel and the biblical response to it’. Demonstrating a simple tool to share the gospel.)
13:00 – 13:30 A demonstration of how to heal the sick.
14:00 – 17:30 Outreach – Baptisms
18:30 – 21:00 Sharing testimonies, Prayer/Ministry
Sunday
10:00-12:30 Morning teaching on ‘The parable of the sower’ or ‘The Four Grounds’. Are we the fruitful ground, or are we hindered by persecution or worldly pleasures and cares. We need to be ready to pay the cost to follow Jesus and bear fruit that remains.)
13:00 – 17:30 Outreach – Baptisms
18:30 – 21:00 Sharing testimonies, Prayer, Networking.
We will bring books and gospel witness cards to sell if people want to buy. Books authored by Torben Sondergaard: ‘Sound Doctrine’, ‘Christian, disciple or slave’, ‘The Last Reformation’, ‘The Call of Jesus’, ‘Kickstart package’, ‘Are you a Christian or are you deceived’ booklet.
